Ridge Vineyards Wine TastingNovember 20 2019 | 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
310 Lorton Ave, Burlingame, CA 94010
Please join us in welcoming David Gates, Ridge Vineyards' Senior Vice President of Vineyard Operations as he guides us through some of the most exciting and iconic wines Ridge produces. From the monolithic 98 point Monte Bello Cabernet (one of the historic wines included in the 1976 Judgement of Paris) to their first ever Grenache Blanc and the single vineyard Zinfandel blends, this is a once in a lifetime tasting with one of the greatest wineries in the world!
Over 50 years ago, Ridge made its first Monte Bello, and two years later its first zinfandel. Since this time, Ridge has championed single-vineyard winemaking, searching California for those rare vineyards where climate, soil, and varietal are ideally matched. Ridge Vineyards has two locations; high on Monte Bello Ridge in California’s rugged Santa Cruz Mountains in Cupertino and in the heart of Sonoma County in Healdsburg.
Note- while we normally taste five wines, we're including a surprise 6th wine from Ridge, one we're almost certain you've never tasted before! Our line up that night will include:
2018 Ridge Grenache Blanc, Adelaida Vineyard, Paso Robles - $50
2017 Ridge Lytton Springs Zinfandel, Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma County - $60
2017 Ridge Geyserville Zinfandel, Alexander Valley, Sonoma County. - $60
2016 Monte Bello, Santa Cruz Mountains - $300
2017 Ridge Lytton Estate Petite Sirah, Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma County - $60
Tasting Fee includes tastes of all six wines, light bites and 25% off any bottles of Ridge wines purchased that evening.
