Australian Wildfire Relief TastingFebruary 5 2020 | 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
310 Lorton Avenue, Burlingame 94010
Between the immeasurable loss of life to her animal population, to the total destruction of millions of acres of land, Australia has suffered one of the worst natural disasters of its entire existence with the recent bush fires. In total, more than 43,000 square miles have burned, larger than the state of Louisiana and 67 times the size of the biggest CA wildfire. Included amongst all the destruction were countless acres of precious old vine vineyards, most notably, those belonging to Henschke in Adelaide Hills where 90% of the 25-acre Lenswood Vineyard is now gone.
We felt it only appropriate to try to do what we can to not only highlight the incredible quality of Australian wines by featuring them in this tasting, but also to proudly donate 50% of the proceeds from ticket sales and bottle sales to the Australian Red Cross' Disaster Relief & Recovery.
