Cab Blends 6 Pack

2012 Chateau La Louviere Pessac-Léognan

Cabernet Sauvignon 57%  Merlot 40%  Petit Verdot 3%.

It always takes time to perfect a craft - Chateau La Louviere has mastered theirs over centuries, seven centuries to be exact!  Records show that wine was already being made there in 1310. However, the vineyard as we know it today dates from the early 16th century. The 2012 vintage for Bordeaux was small and difficult at times, but not without moments of greatness. This wine is a beautiful representation of a Bordeaux blend that is aged to perfection.

                 2013 Cain Concept, Napa Valley

31% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Cabernet Franc, 23% Merlot, 19% Petit Verdot

Cain Concept is the ripest, roundest, fullest wine in the collection of wines from Cain. The 2013 is a vintage of wonderful ripeness, that epitomizes the ideals of Cabernet Sauvignon grown in the classic Benchlands of the Napa Valley. It displays the aromatic complexity, smooth entry, balanced mouth- feel and graceful finish, which are the signatures of the Cain style. 2013 expresses all the warm, generous fruitiness which Cabernet Sauvignon can offer when grown in the best sites of the Napa Valley. It is simply bursting with fragrant aromas of fruit, flowers, tobacco and spice, all layered over a zesty, juicy structure that promises many years of age.
Cain wines always show their best once they are 9-10 years old, and this wine is no exception. Smooth and full, this wine would be equally at home with a steak or getting you through the 17th screening of Encanto (if you have kids, you know).

2018 DeLille Cellars Red Bordeaux Blend D2, Columbia Valley

Named after the famed D2 road that runs from Bordeaux up through the M├ędoc, this truly embodies the concept of a Bordeaux. Winemaker’s note says “Mocha and milk chocolate notes from French oak integrate with beautiful cassis, dried cranberry, and cedar aromas on this 2018 D2. This wine is instantly delicious on the palate with an inviting warm, soft entry. It rapidly builds in intensity of fruit mid-palate, offering remarkable length on the finish, with Red Mountain Cabernet (16% of the blend) apparent in the texture.”
DeLille Cellars is a boutique artisan winery located in Woodinville, Washington. Founded in 1992 by Charles and Greg Lill, Jay Soloff, and winemaker Chris Upchurch, DeLille Cellars pioneered Bordeaux-style blends in Washington State (both red and white) - inspiring Robert Parker, in a visit to the original Chateau in Woodinville, to proclaim DeLille Cellars “the Lafite Rothschild of Washington State.”
