2020 Hanzell 'Sebella' Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast
From legendary Pinot producer, Hanzell, this more approachable Pinot is my absolute favorite lately. With a broad, silky mouthfeel, the bright red fruits are beautifully complemented by earthy notes. Delightful to drink, the long, intriguing finish calls for another sip as the wine unfolds in the glass.

2019 Cotiere Pinot Noir, Santa Rita Hills
An old favorite of Velvet 48, I'm continually amazed at the quality for the price. The 2019 Santa Rita Hills Pinot Noir is a blend of three vineyards that are uniquely located on the cool western edges of this appellation. La Rinconada and Sanford & Benedict Vineyards enjoys a touch more afternoon warmth in clay and alluvium based soils, while the Hilliard Bruce Vineyard sits on the deep end of Route 246 in sandy loam.

2018 Hitching Post 'Cork Dancer' Pinot Noir, Santa Barbara
A new vintage of this classic producer featured heavily in a certain directional wine film. A blend of Santa Maria Valley and Sta. Rita Hills vineyards, the Cork Dancer displays a rich, dark fruit profile with a balanced structure and body that pairs perfectly with grilled meats.
